It’s been more than two years since Superstorm Sandy, and a lot of people are still not back in their homes. As I have written below, I periodically volunteer with the St. Bernard Project. They are working in collaboration with AmeriCorps, Sea Bright Rising, and Farmers Insurance to help rebuild communities devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
There are several ways that you can help too:
Donate money to the St. Bernard Project, or Sea Bright Rising;
Host a Fundraiser;
Donate Tools;
One other thing: If you’d like to join me next time I go to
help out with the reconstruction, let me know. It is a very rewording way to
spend a day, you meet some great people, and you can really make a difference!
